North-Budapest Central Hospital - design contest

The proposal considers the existing and the future functions and traffic connections, meanwhile assures an integrated and clear traffic system in the accessibility of the functions of the existing buildings and the new block.

Our application was awarded 10 million HUF prize by the announcer’s committee.

 

Details from the final report:

 

“The proposed building utilizes the existing traffic connections. Concerning the transports, the projected concept takes full notice of keeping and extending the present functions (patient admission, vehicle and other kind of transports). The result is an integrated and clear traffic system in the accessibility of the functions of the existing buildings and the new block. “

 

Recommendation for further utilization of the plan: “In the course of the further planning procedure the general designer of the project should review, and suggested to utilize the worth of the brought documents, with particular regard to the medical technology solutions (e.g. Emergency Unit)”
